Runtastic Running Tracker PRO App Reviews

I have pro version and the button for premium extension is too close from the start and pause button. When Im running I dont want to stop to check if I hit the right button.

I love this app especially since it is not solely for running if desired!

I wish it would: Link to Garmin heart rate monitors Base calories on increments, speeds and heart rate. I choose increments but have to choose walk or run which are neither accurate as I run/ walk. I also wish we could edit our history rather than delete it and enter manually when we realize we chose for example hike instead of walk. Otherwise in general it is good. I use it in conjunction with my cheap Garmin heart rate monitor.

Now it drops part of my run. Not paused. Uncool.

It used to be you could use the app without creating an account or some other kind of login. It would keep your history in the app locally which was fine for my needs. Then a few months ago they got rid of all the history data. OK. I guess I can still use it to measure the current activity. Now today I open it up and it wont even let me use the app with logging in. Im sorry, but why do I need to log in to measure my current activity? This app is unusable unless you want to log in with Facebook or create an account. :(

I use it normally to track my running miles. I have also use its guided running program and have enjoyed the challenge especially interval level running.

Tried the free version and, while I found the basic features of this app are very good, it nags you with forceful prompts to join their service... forceful prompts explaining aspects of the app... So I bought the pro version... hoping to at least stop yhe constant premium service nagScreen... but noooo.... I was still nagged. If I wanted to give away my money and be continuously nagged, I would be married. Now this app I paid for to track my run is trying to seel me gear and makes it even more difficult to start it up and begin my run. It has also now taken to auto-finding me on facebook without ever prompting me. I opened it today and it showed me a facebook profile pick asking if it was me. If the app would not stalk me and just do what it is supposed to do (ie track and log the run on my phone, it would be 5 stars).

Out of all the apps I used for workout I like it the most.

Help! As of this morning 8/15/17, I cant open the app. It opens to the normal screen to start a workout, then promptly crashes when I try to click anything.

It is beyond annoying to have a buy premium bar right next to the start run bar but the hitbox to dismiss the premium bar is like 1 pixel so it very deceptive. I do not recommend buying as you might as well just use the free app since the pro version has company ads that come back each time you start their app nagging you to buy their premium subscriptions. If they would go away after dismissing them upon restarting the app even after updates I could understand but they are literally next to your start run bar and like I mentioned it doesnt go away after the run starts until you touch this small x in the corner that has a hitbox much smaller than the x tricking you into showing the full screen ad for a useless premium subscription that I will never want or need. They update it constantly just to try to hide feedback like this and now I get ads spamming premium or alternative company apps sliding down from the top of the start run screen which takes it to a new level of annoying behavior.

Use this app for all my exercises. Its fantastic!!

Ive been using this app for about three years now and really like it. Im not a runner but I do long walks in the forest and walk for rehab purposes. I love the feedback it gives me and how easy it is to use.

Very happy with Runtastic until Update 7.4, which just wiped out 2-3 years of history. I am NOT happy. Additional comments for above review: a restart of the app (swiping up on the iPhone to get the app to stop running, then relaunching it) brought back the history. Now Im a happier user of the app.
